Just got my Coastal Scents, 88 Warm Palette in the mail 2 days ago! I was so excited to try it out, I've been watching a lot of Youtube tutorials, and a lot of makeup gurus have been raving about how this palette is great for everyday smokey eye looks. I also have the Ultra Shimmer 88 Palette, but couldn't really pull off that many neutral looks with that, because it has so many bright colors, which is only good for evening makeup since it's too overpowering.
I was able to try it out, and I LOVE it! There are so much pretty neutral matte colors, to create beautiful fall looks and a sexy smokey eye.

that is soooo awesome! ive never heard of that makeup line, but im sooooooooooooooo glad i checked out this tutorial...i LOVE the bottom one..ive tried doing a smoky eye forever and it ends up looking like i got punched in the eye! LOL! yayayayayayaya! thanks for sharing!!!!
Aloha Jen! Yes, I know EXACTLY how you FEEL! HAHA, boy do I know! When I first started collecting makeup about a year ago, my first attempt at the smokey eye was so sad.. I DID look like someone punched BOTH my eyes.. I wanted to give up, because I could never get that gorgeous smokey eye like the MAC makeup professionals do it! These palettes are great to start off with, and you can find so many great tutorials on youtube.

Their tutorials are great, and I love the step-by-step instructions they give! Helped me out a lot.. Hope it'll help you too. The tutorials are so much fun! :D
Oh, another thing, you need a really good BLENDING brush for those great smokey eye look! They really do make a difference, they have some cheap ones on Coastal Scents.. MACs are SO expensive!
I just got myself a palette except the colors are WILD; the kind I would never use. I should have definitely looked into it before making my purchase. Next time around I should get this. The colors are much more natural skin tone type.
