Chocolate Chip Pineapple Cookies!

This is my entry for the IHeartFaces "My Story In Photos: Dessert Recipe Edition". Check out more recipe entries at:

I went on Youtube, and in my search for easy cookie recipes, I stumbled upon this super EASY cookie recipe, and experimented today..

The outcome? VOILA...

CHOCOLATE CHIP PINEAPPLE COOKIES

Ingredients
1 Box Pineapple Cake mix (*Note: You can use ANY flavored cake mix, this recipe is versatile..)
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Eggs
1 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (I used milk chocolate)
PAM Butter spray (to slightly grease cookie pan)
*Optional you can add your choice of chopped nuts (I didn't use any)

This is the exact Pineapple cake mix I used to make this recipe:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, sift Pineapple cake mix.

2) Add vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix with electric hand mixer, until it's a thick consistency. I mixed if for about 5-10 mins.

3) Turn off electric mixer; add chocolate chips and mix with wooden/large spoon until chocolate chips are spread evenly in the dough.

4) With an ice cream scooper or 1/3 measuring cup, scoop dough mixture and place on greased cookie pan (coated with PAM Butter spray). I only made 6-7 cookies at a time.

5) Pat cookie dough down slightly, and put in preheated 350 degree oven. Bake for 12 minutes.

6) Take out cookies, let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, with a spatula, take out cookies and place on cooling rack. Let it cool down for about 30 minutes, or until cookies start to harden.

Yields 16 (3-inch) big cookies, more if you make the cookies smaller.

Enjoy!
