Many soldiers lost their lives on December 7th, 1941 during the attack at Pearl Harbor, and I took this particular photo at the USS Arizona Memorial, which was one of many the battleships that was hit during the attacks. Over 2,000 people (military & civilians) lost their lives on that day.
This photo is my personal tribute to those who serve/served in the Armed Forces, past & present...

The inscription reads: "To the Memory of the Gallant Men Here Entombed and their shipmates who gave their lives in action on December 7, 1941, on the U.S.S. Arizona"

Just a simple "thank you" from me. I am the daughter of a Pearl Harbor survivor; my father was at Wheeler Field on Dec 7, 1941. It changed his life forever. May we never forget. Thank you for your beautiful testimonial ...
